Welcome to Neko Dub. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Neko Dub browser extension, website at nekodub.com, and any related services (collectively, the "Service") operated by Neko Dub ("we," "us," or "our").
By installing the extension or using the Service in any way, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please uninstall the extension and discontinue use.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required by your country's laws) to use the Service. By using Neko Dub, you represent that you meet this requirement.
2. Your Account
Some features require creating an account via Google OAuth. You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorised access.
3. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service to infringe any third party's intellectual property rights.
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or tamper with any part of the Service.
- Attempt to circumvent quota limits, rate limits, or authentication systems.
- Use automated bots or scripts to access the Service at scale without prior written permission.
- Resell or sublicense access to the Service without our written consent.
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of platform policies of sites you visit.
4. Plans and Quotas
Neko Dub offers a free tier and paid plans (Pro and Max). Each plan includes defined quotas: videos per day, AI dubbing seconds per month, and ASR (speech-to-text) seconds per month. Unused quota does not roll over.
We reserve the right to adjust plan features, quotas, or pricing at any time. We will provide at least 30 days' notice before any material change takes effect for existing users.
5. Fair Use
We reserve the right to throttle or suspend accounts that we determine are abusing the Service in ways that degrade the experience for other users.
6. Intellectual Property
The Neko Dub name, logo, extension code, and website content are owned by us and protected by copyright and trademark law. These Terms do not grant you any right to use our branding or intellectual property outside of normal use of the Service.
Content you watch through third-party platforms (e.g., YouTube) remains the property of the respective rights holders. Neko Dub does not host, store, or redistribute third-party video content.
7. Third-Party Services
The Service integrates with third-party APIs including Google Translate, Google Gemini, Microsoft Edge TTS, and Cloudflare AI (for speech-to-text transcription). Your use of translated or dubbed content may be subject to additional terms from these providers. We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or policies of any third-party service.
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that translations and dubs will be accurate.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Neko Dub and its affiliates, directors, and employees will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your use of or inability to use the Service, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
Our total liability to you for any claim arising out of these Terms or the Service will not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or USD $50, whichever is greater.
10. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time for any reason, including if you violate these Terms. You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account dashboard; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
11. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will post the updated Terms here and update the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Vietnam, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms will be resolved in the competent courts of Vietnam.
